Le Soleil in Zinnowitz

Le Soleil is in Neue Strandstr. 35, in 17454 Zinnowitz. It is an Armenian-German restaurant. The ambience and atmosphere is very pleasant there. I drank a nice beer there and ate a fillet of beef from the lava grill. Both were very delicious. The staff is very friendly, helpful and very valuable. Highly recommended!

Super friendly service. The menu leaves nothing to be desired. We had the fish platter for 2 people, just delicious!

The service was super nice. I can't really say whether price and quality really match - we thought it was delicious, and so did the kids. I would eat there again.

Food was delicious table without a reservation. Inside the restaurant left a lot to be desired, very dark and cool. I don't want to write about the sanitary area. That's why only three stars

Fish platter was well prepared and tasted good too. The portion was also sufficient. It didn't look much at first glance, but that was wrong. Service was friendly and hard-working. With the gas bottles for the patio heaters it worked ;-) 4 stars are deserved.

Outstanding! Reserving in advance is strongly recommended. The staff is very friendly and pointed out chocolate souflé as a dessert that was not on the menu. The beef fillet and fish of our companions were very good. Tender as butter and well seasoned. The broccoli was a little too soft for my taste, but the rest was perfect for that. Price-performance ratio fits. Any time!

We visited the restaurant in the evening. Unfortunately we waited over 1 hour for our food. There were things missing on the "large" starter platter and the garlic prawns were straight from the freezer. Main course was ok. The waitresses drank and ate in the restaurant. They also spoke badly of the guests. Very unprofessional. Such behavior only works in places where no regular customers are required.

Had dinner at Le Soleil in Zinnowitz today. We had a salad with chicken and a ribeye steak with potato wedges. Our meal was okay. The service was nice. What was not okay, however, is the time from ordering to serving. The waiting time was more than 1:15 hours (and not in prime time). Sometimes families have left their tables at neighboring tables due to the waiting time. Probably, as is so often the case, there is no sufficient staff, which of course has to suffer for the staff present. The owners should rethink their strategy here. I am also of the opinion that you can shorten such waiting times for the guest with a little bread and fat. But well, the use of materials is perhaps too heavy for the owner at € 4.80 per half liter of beer and € 26 for the steak. The toilet area should urgently be revised. Hence the 2 star deduction.

Very friendly service, got a table straight away, even though the shop was very busy and we hadn't pre-ordered. The dishes ordered were brought quickly, tasted good and the price / performance ratio was right. We'd love to go back here.

The drinks 2 Alster were lukewarm. My dish, a hip steak with red wine mousse, was a let down. The side dishes overlaid the plate. The potato strips were almost cold inside. The so-called hip steak was of a size under the motto, what is the name of the animal, much too small. Since I hadn't eaten since breakfast, I felt hungry. Those who want to eat well and be full should avoid the restaurant. In addition, the staff kept talking to each other at an annoying volume. So there was no rest when eating. So absolutely not to be recommended.

The ribeye came with frozen potato wedges. Fish was overcooked and dripping in oil, service was somehow over staffed and yet still unattentive. Great location, terrible restaurant.

We were very disappointed. The dishes were always lukewarm (salmon, chicken skewer, cod). The fish is okay. The sauces were loveless, tasteless and no longer warm. The side dishes were consistently tasteless and lukewarm. The hygiene is poor. Prices consistently too expensive and already excessive for the poor quality of the food. The staff does not deliver the food ordered and is unprofessional. Not again!

We didn't order. But got a seat relatively quickly. However, the table was only cleaned when we were seated. The starter plate was all served cold. Cold prawns without spices. Garlic bread and herb butter was completely missing. Soup only lukewarm. Main course ordered rump steak with potato wedges. Came with fried potatoes. Meat 🥩 was okay and potatoes lukewarm. Plaice with fried potatoes also lukewarm. Too bad. Expected more because it was recommended to us.

The food and service were very good. But when we sat down to eat, things started badly. 15 minutes until we got something to drink and over an hour of waiting for our food, even for the bill we would have to wait over 10 minutes. During that time I got hungry again. In addition, the organization was bad, waiters gave the food away to which customer because they didn't know who ordered it, the plastic packaging was still stuck to the herb butter and when the waiter finally brought our food and wanted to leave we asked him if we also had cutlery could get. Therefore, unfortunately, only two stars.

Unfortunately, very disappointing. More expensive, but worse in comparison. Quality not convincing. Not even wiped a table. No hygiene, no distance, no follow-up. Greetings from Corona. Not recommendable. Waiting for food at all tables. Mass instead of class.

It took over 90 minutes for the food to arrive. There was no warning that they might be busy or overwhelmed, the apology arrived late with the food. Other guests seemed to be similarly annoyed, one couple left after 45min. My guess is a small kitchen, little staff and too many tables. The decision for the one-star review was made before the food actually arrived at the table. After eating, it didn’t change. The food was alright, especially the fish was good. Other meals seemed quite basic and (again) I really have no understanding how it could take so long. Other reviews seem to match my experience. Don’t come here hungry. To the owners: please upgrade communication and staff.

Have eaten a dish from the lunch menu here, fish with mustard sauce and potatoes and chicken breast with peas in cream sauce and potato wedges. Each with a cucumber salad. Food could have been a little more flavorful, but was fine. Service very friendly. Before we were allowed to sit down, the table was wiped extra. Everything corona fair.

We visited the place with good expectations, looking forward to great grilled fish and meat. The night, however, was a constant spiral downwards. All our orders was a very long time to get, we had to ask sometime again where they are. In the end we gave up at payment as well, we would be still waiting for our waiter if we did not leave giving the cash directly to a him on our way out. The food was fine though but did not compensate the whole night.
